Privacy Policy
- No account or sign-up is required. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to use the app.
- When you tap Generate, the selected room photo and your style choices are sent to our AI image provider, Replicate, only to create your design. We ask for your permission before the first upload.
- Your original photos and generated designs are stored only on your device. You can delete them at any time.
- We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
This Privacy Policy explains how Interior AI (“Interior AI”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Interior AI mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we process
Room photos you choose
You can take a photo with your camera, pick one from your photo library, or use one of the built-in demo rooms. A photo leaves your device only when you tap Generate, and only the single photo you selected is uploaded. We ask you to avoid photos that show people, personal documents or other sensitive details.
Design choices
The feature you use (Restyle, Empty Fill or Walls & Floor), the room type, style, intensity and material options are sent together with the photo so the design can be generated.
Information stored on your device
Your design history (original photo, generated image, title and date) and app preferences, such as whether you have agreed to AI processing, are stored locally in the App’s private storage on your device. We cannot access this data.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifier. The App does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
2. How we use information
Photos and design choices are used only to generate the interior design preview you requested and return it to your device. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or to train our own AI models.
3. Third-party AI processing
Designs are generated by Replicate, Inc., a third-party AI model hosting provider. When you tap Generate, your selected photo and design choices are transmitted to Replicate over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, processed by an AI image model, and the result is sent back to the App.
Replicate processes this data on our behalf and under its own terms and privacy policy. According to Replicate’s documentation, inputs and outputs of predictions created through its API are automatically deleted after a short retention period (currently about one hour). We ask for your explicit permission in the App before your first photo is sent to Replicate. If you do not agree, no photo is uploaded, and you can still browse the App.
4. Device permissions
- Camera – only to take a room photo when you choose to.
- Photos – to let you pick a room photo, and to save a finished design to your library when you tap Save. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your design history stays on your device until you delete it. You can remove individual designs from the History tab, or remove everything by deleting the App. We do not keep a server-side copy of your photos or designs.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your information. We share your selected photo and design choices only with Replicate as described above, or when required by law. When you use the Share button, you choose where the image goes, and that destination’s own policy applies.
7. Security
Data sent to our AI provider is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS’s built-in security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will help remove it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Because your designs are stored on your device, you can delete them directly in the App. For any other request, please contact us at the email below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. International transfers
Our AI provider may process data in the United States or other countries. By using the generation feature, you understand that your selected photo may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to appropriate safeguards.
11. Future features
If we add features such as in-app purchases, subscriptions or in-app advertising, purchases are processed by Apple and we do not receive your payment card details. We will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any new type of data is collected.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes will also be announced in the App.
